Welcome to GrillCuisines. I'm Sabah, a recipe developer and passionate home cook who loves creating simple, flavourful recipes that bring people together around the table.

How It All Started

My love for cooking started in my mother’s kitchen.

I was probably eight or nine years old the first time I stood on a small stool beside her, watching her cook. She never measured anything — a handful of this, a pinch of that, a splash of something else.

I didn’t understand the recipes back then, but I understood the feeling. The warmth of the kitchen. The way food brought everyone together. The pride of placing something on the table that the people you love genuinely enjoyed.

That feeling never left me.

Years later, I now find myself standing in my own kitchen — and this time, it’s my daughter beside me.

She pulls up a chair, ties on a little apron, and watches everything I do with the same curious eyes I must have had all those years ago. 

She wants to taste everything before it’s ready and help with every small step.

Cooking is how we connect in our family. It always has been, and I think it always will be.

Why I Started Grillcuisines

I created GrillCuisines to share the kind of recipes I actually make for my family that are simple, reliable, and full of flavour.

Recipes that work on a busy Tuesday night just as well as they do for a special family occasion.

Recipes that do not require culinary school training or a long list of ingredients you have never heard of.

I will be honest with you — I am not a professionally trained chef.

What I am is a mum of two who has spent years learning through real kitchen experience.

Testing things that did not work. Adjusting and improving.

What You Will Find Here

Every recipe on GrillCuisines is personally:

 — Tested in my own kitchen or outdoor cooking space
 — Written with step-by-step instructions
 — Photographed using my own original images
 — Created with family, gatherings, and real home cooking in mind

If I would not confidently serve it to my own children or guests, it simply does not get published here.

That is a standard I hold every single recipe to.

Beyond the Kitchen

When I am not testing recipes, I am usually chasing after my two kids, exploring seasonal ingredients at the market, or brainstorming new meal ideas.

My daughter has become my little kitchen companion.

She helps me mix, stir, and taste test. And honestly, some of my best recipe ideas have come from her suggestions.

My goal with GrillCuisines is to make home cooking simple, enjoyable, and approachable for everyday families.
