KOREAN BBQ DIPPING SAUCES

Ssamjang (쌈장) and Gochujang KBBQ Dipping Sauces are both tied for my favorite, since they pair really well with any meat. The soy based dipping sauce is a recent addition to the sauce medley just to add a little bit more salt and flavor to the KBBQ experience at home!

Ingredients

Samjang Dipping Sauce

  • ¼ cup doenjang(fermented soybean paste)
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (hot pepper paste)
  • 1 stalk minced green onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼  cup chopped onion
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp taosted sesame oil

Gochujang KBBQ Dipping Sauce

  • 2-3 tbsp gochujang paste*  
  • 1½ tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
