Ingredients

For the Homemade Biscuits:

  • 2 cup Self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp salt

For the Homemade Chicken Sausage Patty:

  • Homemade spice mix
  • ingredients
  • 1 pound ground chicken 1 pound
  • 1 tbsp Dried sage
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Smoked paprika
  • Cooking oil

For the Eggs and Cheese:

  • 2 Eggs 2
  • Cheese slices as per need
  • Cooking oil or butter

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the buttermilk and stir until the dough comes together.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.Roll out the dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
  • Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium heat and grease lightly.
  • Cook the biscuits on the griddle for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a flakier texture, handle the biscuit dough as little as possible to avoid overworking it.
You can increase or decrease salt in the chicken sausage patty seasoning to suit your taste preferences.
Optionally, sprinkle some additional shredded cheese on top of the sausage patty before adding the egg for an extra cheesy experience.
