        2. ½ teaspoon baking powder

        4. ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
        5. ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
        6. 1 large egg
        7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
        8. 1 teaspoon strawberry extract
        9. 4-5 drops of pink or red food coloring (optional)

        For Topping:

        • 24 Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped, preferably milk or white chocolate)
        • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

        How to make it

1 Start by setting your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

2 In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt by whisking them together. Set this mixture aside.

3 Take another bowl and use a hand or stand mixer on medium speed to beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Now add egg, vanilla extract, strawberry extract, and food coloring (if desired) to the butter mixture and mix until everything is thoroughly combined.

4- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the mixture, mixing on low speed until a soft dough is formed. Be careful not to mix too much.

5- After preparing the dough, take 1-tablespoon portions of dough and roll them into balls. Arrange them 2 inches apart on the lined baking sheet.

6- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set while the center remains slightly soft. Refrain from overbaking.

7- As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, gently press a Hershey’s Kiss into the middle of each cookie. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move them to a wire rack to cool completely.

8- Dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar for a refined touch.

          Tips and Variations

          • For optimal flavour, opt for rich strawberry extract.
          • If the dough feels too soft to manage, chill it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
          • For a change, replace Hershey’s Kisses with mini marshmallows or pieces of strawberry-flavoured chocolate.

                              • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

                              How to make it

1- Begin by washing and drying the strawberries thoroughly. Remove the green tops and gently hollow out the centers with a small spoon or melon baller to create room for the filling

2- To make the filling take a medium-sized bowl, and whip the softened cream cheese until it reaches a smooth consistency. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and honey (if desired), mixing until the ingredients are fully blended. For an added layer of flavor, consider folding in finely chopped dark chocolate.

3- Utilize a piping bag or a small spoon to carefully fill the hollowed strawberries with the cream cheese mixture.

4- For an added touch of color and freshness, consider garnishing the devilled strawberries with fresh mint leaves. Serve them promptly as a delightful snack, appetizer, or party dish!!

                                How to make it

1- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet in a single layer.

2- Proceed to bake the phyllo cups in the preheated oven for a duration of 10 to 12 minutes, or until they achieve a golden and crispy texture. Once baked, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a short period.

3- For the filling, take a small bowl and mix together the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, and diced mozzarella. Add a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze (or vinegar), then season with salt and pepper. Carefully toss the mixture to ensure even distribution.

4- Carefully spoon the mixture of tomatoes and mozzarella into the baked phyllo cups, ensuring they are filled generously.

5- Add Garnish and Present: Top each phyllo cup with a small basil leaf to enhance its freshness and visual appearance. Serve promptly as an exquisite appetizer or a delightful snack for gatherings.
