- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (yields 8 beef balls)S4
- Seasonings of your choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.)
- 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
- Butter for frying
- 4 Hamburger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bacon, etc.)

Divide the ground beef into eight portions and roll them into loose balls. Refrigerate while preparing other ingredients.
Prepare vegetables by finely grating onions, dicing lettuce, and thinly slicing tomatoes.
Crisp the hamburger buns on the griddle while it's medium-hot. Butter the buns and set aside.
Heat the griddle to medium-high (approximately 400 degrees) and start cooking the beef patties. Place a piece of parchment paper on each ball to prevent sticking. Press each ball thin to create a patty.
Season the patties with salt and pepper. After flipping, add a slice of cheese to each patty to melt.
Assemble the burgers by spreading sauce on the bottom buns, adding lettuce, tomato slices, and two beef patties. Top with the second bun.
